Reaching Srinagar by air is the best option and time saving. However, in the peak season the airlines rates become very high and our travel goes beyond the budget.

Therefore, travelling to Kashmir by train is also very suitable and safe. You can start your journey to Kashmir from Jammu Junction. So please confirm your reservation for Jammu Junction from anywhere in India. If you start your journey from Jammu then choose Pahalgam as your first destination by taxi. After completing the sightseeing of Pahalgam, proceed towards Srinagar and follow your Kashmir itinerary. Drive from Jammu to Pahalgam 235 Kms and journey time by taxi is approx 6 to 7 Hours.
